#1 Top Ten List

My top ten TV shows:

1. Six Feet Under
2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
3. Deep Space Nine
4. Kids in the Hall
5. Little Britain
6. The Simpsons
7. Degrassi TNG
8. Weeds
9. X-Files
10. Fawlty Towers

Two Honourable Mentions:

1. The only reason the Golden Girls aren't on my list is that I completely forgot about them until after I'd reached number 11.

2. Fawlty Towers, you're only on the bottom because you produced so few shows. You still get my top comedy spot ever time.

Feel free to leave your own lists in the comments.

I'm assuming, since you're not ragingly gay (that I know of) that The Simple Life and The View actually got DIShonourable mentions?

Yeah, the View and Simple Life things were tongue-in-ass ... er, I mean cheek ... Fuck.

This list was written very impulsively:
1) Married...With Children
2) The Simpsons (no matter how popular or tired this show becomes, seasons 3-7 are untouchable by ANY measure of entertainment quality)
3) Kojak
4) Deadwood
5) Degrassi [any]
6) Kids In The Hall
7) Beverly Hills 90210
8) Saved By The Bell
9) Kung Fu (70s)
10) Trailer Park Boys

I know I'll think about several others later but these 10 will do just fine.

Oh! I can't forget about the best animated series (plural) of all time: G.I. Joe, Transformers & He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe. These shows were the highlight of action-based cartoons and their majesty hasn't been equalled yet, least of all by the lame-ass remakes of recent years. Please subtract 90210, Kung Fu and Saved By The Bell from my list.

Group Honourable Mention: At least two people considered The Littlest Hobo for a special mention. Unfortunately we all found it really depressing. Still, it deserves something.

remember The Hilarious House of Frightenstein? this was a fave for years as a kid, as were the World of Oz cartoons, and fucking Voltron.
